Patient Partner Bursaries
BRIC NS is committed to the principles of patient engagement and recognizes the value of having patients, caregivers and people with lived experience involved in all aspects of the research process. We have created a bursary program to make it easier for patients and caregivers to attend Primary Health Care Research Day. We have at least 2 bursaries available that include registration, travel costs, accommodations, and some meals. Please click the link to fill out the bursary application when you visit the registration page. We will contact you as soon as possible to let you know if a bursary is available for you. For more information, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 902-473-8037.
The Dalhousie Student Union building is entirely wheelchair accessible with a ramp entrance on Seymour Street. Elevators and each space are completely accessible including accessible stalls in each washroom. The third floor houses accessible single use washrooms that are gender neutral. There is an additional gender neutral washroom on the 1st floor. For accommodations around visual and hearing impairments, please contact the Coordinator at email@example.com.
If you are new to Primary Health Care Research Day or health conferences in general, please feel welcome to request a conference guide when registering. If you have attended the event before, please indicate your interest in being a conference guide/mentor for someone else.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 902-473-8037 with any questions or concerns.
