BRIC NS Student Seminar Series: January 2024

The BRIC NS Student Seminar Series is an opportunity for students across Nova Scotia to share their completed or in-progress research. Presentations cover a wide variety of disciplines, but all address the common thread of primary and integrated health care. Everyone is welcome!

Title: Examining Individual, Group-Based, and Integrated Formats of Cognitive Behavior Therapy – Ten (CBT-T) for Eating Disorders

Presenter:

Anastasia graduated from Acadia University in 2018 with a BSc in Psychology and Neuroscience. After graduating, she worked in Ontario as an emergency department medical scribe at Collingwood General & Marine Hospital and as a clinical rotation coordinator for the Rural Ontario Medical Program. In 2021 she returned to Nova Scotia and began working as the research coordinator for the Eating Disorders Program at QEII Health Sciences Centre. She is currently in her second year of the MSc in Psychiatry Research program at Dalhousie University. Under the supervision of Drs. Aaron Keshen and Susan Gamberg, her research focuses on improving accessibility of evidence-based eating disorder treatments in the Maritimes. She plans to complete her thesis by Fall 2024 and then continue her research in the Eating Disorders Program.
