NS-PIHCI Information Day

On October 8, 2015, the Nova Scotia Primary and Integrated Health Care Innovations Network (NS-PIHCI) held an Information Day to officially launch its second phase. Researchers, clinicians and policy-makers came together to learn more about NS-PIHCI and to discuss and develop research projects. Presentations covered patient engagement, the clinical context for patients with complex needs, and research priorities.

We were also honoured to welcome Deputy Minister of the Nova Scotia Department of Health and Wellness, Dr. Peter Vaughan, to the event. Dr. Vaughan discussed the importance of using research data to drive policy and knowledge translation strategies for communicating research to policy-makers.

Thank you to everyone who attended and made this day a success!
