Quality in Primary Health Care Seminar Series

Update and early findings from TRANSFORMATION: Patient PHC experience in NS, BC and ON

The TRANSFORMATION Study aims to improve both the science of primary care performance measurement and the ways those results are reported to practitioners, decision-makers, and the public to encourage improvement within the system.

This presentation by Dr. Sabrina Wong (UBC School of Nursing and Centre for Health Services and Policy Research) will present some of the preliminary findings from patient-experience surveys and initial work that has been done in order to construct seven core primary care dimensions through psychometric analysis. TRANSFORMATION is a multi-jurisdictional group of researchers, focusing on three comparable health regions in British Columbia, Ontario and Nova Scotia.
