In Denmark, GPs play an important role in these trajectories, but what do we know about their effort and attitudes? How do we go ahead from here?
Volunteers Needed – Advisory Council
BRIC NS is looking for a citizen representative to sit on its Advisory Council.
Position: Citizen members will join the Advisory Council and will provide input and support to the council by providing a unique, citizen perspective.

Congratulations to BRIC NS Research Lead and Nominated Principal Applicant Dr. Fred Burge, the inaugural recipient of the Dr. Charles and Mrs. Jean Gass Lifetime Achievement Award. Dr. Burge has received this award in recognition of his immense contribution to primary care research and dedication to life long learning. His passion for providing dignified palliative care to his patients is the foundation upon which he has built his career.

Webinar – Intro to BRIC NS
BRIC NS is part of the pan-Canadian SPOR Network in Primary and Integrated Health Care Innovations, a network of networks with representation from across the country. With foundations in community-based primary healthcare, BRIC NS is creating partnerships within and across sectors of healthcare (e.g public health, primary healthcare, secondary, tertiary, home and long-term care) as well as outside of the health sector (e.g education, housing, social services) to improve individual and population health, health equity and health system outcomes.
Project Incubator – Personal Health Record provincial roll-out
Project Incubators are an opportunity for researchers, clinicians, policy-makers and other stakeholders in Nova Scotia’s primary and integrated healthcare system to come together to discuss research topics and areas of collaboration. This event will include:
